17 Apr 2008: Filming at Clinton Road for Day of the Clown

Scott Frankton: The team have been filming in studio for the earlier part of the week and for their first day out and about on location, they were back on Bannerman Road. To welcome a new family in. A new family into Maria's house. I had heard rumours that Maria and her dad weren't coming back, but I hoped they were wrong. Today's filming seems to confirm it. A new asian family have moved into the house opposite SJS's house. The scene being filmed today was very much an introductory scene - Luke, Clyde, SJS welcoming the new family.

Michael Kerrigan was directing.

Filming has been carrying on all day. Scenes with the whole gang and the new family were filmed inside SJS's house, front lawn and car park. Unfortunately no dialogue was to be heard. However, I have remembered who the new mum is...Mina Anwar from The Thin Blue Line. Also, I swear that someone who came to visit looked the spitting image of Russ Abbot, while I can't be 100% sure it was him, he looked alot like him. Will try and find out more.
